The Utility Billing Accountant II performs accounting and complex utility billing and adjustments. The Accountant II will be responsible for organizing supervision duties, reviewing and approving adjustments made by supervisors, responding to complex customer inquiries via verbal and written communicaiton, as well as the auditing and maintenance of financial/billing reports. Knowledge of internal policies and applicable City ordinances will be vital to ensuring that appropriate billing actions are taken. Strong customer service skills with a supervisory background and previous utility billing experience is strongly preferred.

The Accountant II serves as a liaison between City departments and the Water Customer Services Division. The Accountant II will supervise Utility Billing Accountant I(s).

The Water Services Electrician position performs Journeyman level skilled electrical work in the installation, alteration, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems up to 12,470 volts for primarily commercial and industrial applications. This includes troubleshooting complex motor control wiring, installing and repairing equipment in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standard, and following industry standards of the electrical trade.

An Electrician at this level has competency working with equipment in the electrical utility, mining or a commercial/industrial environment. Knowledge and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required for both 600V level and Medium Voltage levels. These duties are performed in Water Services Department in the Water Production Division. The position will be assigned to Remote Facilities and will fill in for staff as needed. Certain assignments may include electronics metering, instrumentation and working with various voltages. Work assignments are received by Electrical Crew Chief, Lead Electrician, sketches, blueprints, verbally, and through work orders. This position also trains new and current staff, as needed.​

The Water Services Department (WSD) is seeking a Water Services Superintendent. The Water Services Superintendent (WSS) position will provide first line supervision to four Utility Supervisors in the Water Distribution Division, which operates 24/7/365 days a year, and provide administrative support to Field Staff and citizens. This position will oversee the Water Main Leak/Break Response Sections which consists of four sections: Cave Creek Yard, Corona Yard, Second Shift and Third Shift (off shifts are located at Rio Yard). Additionally, the position will assist in the direction and overall management, administration, operation, installation, and repair of the City's water distribution system.
